DOYLESTOWN, PA, August 11, 2025 — Holiday House Pet Resort & Training Center raised $2,000 for Kin Wellness & Support Center during its annual Pup-A-Palooza dog daycare celebration. The Wild West-themed event turned a day of fun and enrichment into meaningful community impact.

Kin Wellness & Support Center in Furlong, PA offers free integrative, therapeutic, and wellness services to any Bucks County resident affected by cancer—including patients, caregivers, and oncology healthcare workers. Funded entirely by donations and supported by volunteers, Kin is a lifeline for many navigating cancer treatment and recovery. Each week, the center welcomes 80 to 100 people, and since opening its doors has provided more than 7,000 hours of no-cost services to the cancer community.

For those who are in need of Kin’s services and those who wish to learn more and get involved please reach out at hello@welcometokin.org or 267-544-5981.

“Kin provides an invaluable space of comfort, strength, and connection for cancer patients and caregivers in our community. We’re proud to support their mission and grateful to our clients for helping us make such a meaningful contribution,” said Dr. Laura Weis, co-owner of Holiday House Pet Resort & Training Center and Doylestown Hospital & Holistic Pet Care.

This year’s Pup-A-Palooza saddled up with a Wild West theme that had tails wagging all day long! Decked out in cowboy hats and bandanas, the dogs in the Explorer daycare program sprang into action with a playful cattle roundup. From high-energy adventures to tasty treats and wag-worthy Western portraits for a donation to Kin, every pup enjoyed a rootin’-tootin’ good time.

“We are lucky enough to have a special relationship with the great staff at the Holiday House, who care deeply about the impact they make outside of their core mission to care for and treat pets across Bucks County. We’d like to thank the management, staff and the amazing clients who donated to make this event a success. Their dedication allows our non-profit to continue our mission to support the Bucks County cancer community in a meaningful way,” shared Keith Fenimore, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Kin.

Pup-A-Palooza isn’t just a party—it’s purposeful play. Special events like this give the dogs in the daycare program a unique experience in a safe, fun-filled environment. The enriching activities for the dogs help to build confidence and boost social skills—all while keeping their minds and bodies active.

“Pup-A-Palooza is a fun day for the dogs and our team,” added Weis. “The fact that it also makes a real difference for an organization like Kin is what makes it extra special.”

Pet parents stopped by the event-themed Chuck Wagon tent for complimentary snacks and sarsaparilla while waiting to pick up their pups from daycare. A Holiday House Pet Resort gift basket—filled with certificates for free resort services, pet toys, and practical items for the pet parents—was raffled with all proceeds going to Kin.
