DOYLESTOWN, PA, September 18, 2017—Holiday House Pet Resort & Training Center announces the addition of Canine Master Groomer Liz Sines to lead Holiday House Spa on State, a professional pet grooming salon in the heart of Doylestown. She brings decades of award-winning grooming experience to her new role at The Spa on State.
Sines holds dual certifications from two leading grooming associations: National Certified Master G
roomer and International Certified Master Groomer. She is committed to staying current with grooming industry standards by learning the latest breed patterns, styles, techniques, and safety protocols by attending professional conferences and certification workshops.
“I love to find a clean, balanced and natural look for any pet’s job description, whether it be a family pet, working dog, or show dog. I believe that we, as human beings, have a responsibility to assure that all beings on earth are treated and cared for with respect, patience and commitment,” said Sines.
The foundation of Sines’ experience started in her youth with clipping horses, grooming barn dogs and show horses, and teaching riding instruction. Her passion, dedication, and attention to detail
opened the door to work with some of the world’s most highly noted equestrians. The world of grand-prix show jumpers required Sines to become competent in many areas of animal first aid and veterinary assisting, physical therapy, rehabilitation and conditioning, alternative and holistic approaches, and a variety of training techniques. Her grooming clients include many award-winning show dogs.
Sines was awarded 3rd Place Intermediate Division in the wire coat hand stripping contest with Noah, a wirehaired miniature Dachshund, at Groom Expo in Hershey, PA on September 15. Groom Expo is the world’s largest grooming show.
Holiday House Spa on State recently added Cat Exclusive Mondays for professional cat grooming with
Stephanie Shermer. This service provides clients with a quiet and calm environment where cats feel most comfortable and receive one-on-one attention. Shermer brings 6 years of cat and dog grooming experience to the business, and she is preparing for certification as a feline master groomer. Her experience includes high-risk and senior animals, AKC salon safety certification, and training in pet first aid and CPR.
