Staff

At Holiday House Pet Resort, we believe love is the most important part of your pet’s stay with us, and all of our staff are carefully chosen with that goal foremost. Our dedicated team is motivated by the pleasure they experience in making sure your pet is having a great time. Although we work hard and train to exacting standards, we all laugh a lot and form close bonds. Our mission is to provide the best fun-filled lodging experience for each of our canine and feline guests.

Laura Weis, DVM and Ransome Weis, DVM

Drs Laura and Ransome Weis have owned Holiday House Pet Resort since 2004, and they re-located Doylestown Veterinary Hospital to this location in 2005. Dr. Laura Weis received her BS in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and her DVM from Virginia Tech. Dr. Ransome Weis completed a BS in Chemistry at Dickinson College and his DVM at Cornell University. They both knew from the time they were very young that veterinary careers and animal care were their passions, and owning Holiday House Pet Resort has allowed them to fulfill those dreams. Together they have grown Holiday House into a well-loved and respected center for animal pampering.

When not at Holiday House or Doylestown Veterinary Hospital, Laura and Ransome are busy raising their three boys. They share their lives with Maribelle, their Bouvier, Gigi, their French bulldog, and Alysious, their cat about town, and also with their four goats and many chickens. They volunteer at their children’s school and with Partnership for Planned Pets, the rescue organization they started in 2010.
